"Allan Wei is a historian with a background in law, geography and political philosophy. He is a research associate at GAG-ULB and a member of LIEU, and has been teaching at a number of technical institutes in Brussels since 2008.
With the Par Chemins et Ruines bookshop, based in Forest since 2013, he participates in the dissemination of critical theories and practices.
Between 2021 and 2024, under the supervision of Chloé Deligne, he conducted research in urban ecology on the role of Brussels' wastelands (Marais Wiels, Friche Josaphat, Marais Biestebroeck, etc.) in the creation of new urban imaginaries in a context of cybernetic ecology, property speculation and ecosophical resistance."
