"Here are the different research themes that interest me:

- the gap between climate objectives and real action. This gap gives rise to a series of profound difficulties: inconsistent rhetoric, a lack of confidence in decision-makers, and confusion about what needs to be done;

- the inadequacy of the resources allocated to the necessary transformations, and the real delays in achieving change when injunctions demand speed;

- the very difficult challenge of including disadvantaged social categories in low-carbon transitions, when they are not equipped to do so;

- the political resistance that crystallises around these issues, or on the contrary, the initiatives that contribute to them. All this in Belgium, but also abroad."
