My research interests focus on the dimensions of justice in social-ecological transformations and their translation into the notion of ‘just transition’. I am developing interdisciplinary research linking theoretical and conceptual frameworks from social ecology, environmental justice and sustainable transitions. I am currently coordinating the ‘Coping with Climate Debt through Just Transition’ (COGITO) project, a prospective research project aimed at building and analysing just transition scenarios towards carbon neutrality and climate resilience in the Brussels-Capital Region by 2050.
