"My activities lie at the interface between science, policy and practice, with a focus on the socio-ecological transformations linked to biodiversity issues. I have applied this in particular to the issue of biological invasions, for which I use interdisciplinary approaches ranging from ecology to risk assessment, from societal perceptions of environmental issues to the development of decision-making tools. I work at various levels of governance to ensure that biodiversity issues are taken into account in public policy. I am also a principal author for IPBES, contributing to the production of knowledge that can be mobilised in transformative change processes."
