"As part of my joint PhD programme between the VUB and the ULB, I am studying the growth dependency of Belgian public finances: how public revenue remains structurally linked to GDP growth, and what reforms could help finance the transition in a post-growth context. I adopt an interdisciplinary approach at the intersection of political economy, ecological economics and public finance. More broadly, I am interested in the power dynamics that shape the trajectories of socio-ecological transformation."
