The Institute provides a forum for the exchange, consolidation and collaboration of interdisciplinary research aimed at understanding and explaining the complexity of the environmental problems facing our societies.
The Institute takes a cross-disciplinary look at the dynamics of socio-ecological transformations and their implications and significance for society. It contributes to the development of an analytical, critical and committed perspective on the societal issues surrounding these transformations.
The disciplines identified come from the list produced by the CRef (Conseil des rectrices et recteurs des universités francophones de Belgique) and used on the ULB institutional repository platform (Di-fusion). Each applicant must link their work to the disciplines to which they contribute. The disciplines listed are those to which our member has contributed as part of his or her research.
