"I investigate - and worry about - socio-ecological transformations, particularly as they relate to issues of governance. I'm interested in alternatives - in terms of public action instruments, governance tools and public policy formulation - and I'm also wondering about the (relative) mainstreaming of concepts such as transition, discourses on change and post/decroissance. Together with SONYA researchers, I'm looking at and developing concepts such as exnovation, the emotional side of discourse and policy, and the usefulness of foresight."
