"Adélaïde Ragot's work explores how climate change adaptation dynamics unfold at the local level by integrating residents' knowledge and territorialised diagnoses. Her research questions how environmental inequalities are constructed and reinforced in the Brussels Region, particularly in the face of climate risks. Through the prism of urban governance, she observes how local climate policies are implemented and do not impact everyone in the same way. Her work thus contributes to understanding how socio-ecological transformations disrupt power relations, the scope for action of stakeholders and issues of environmental justice."
