"My research on socio-ecological transformations concerns the various ways in which both citizens and institutions face social, environmental, and territorial inequalities in accessing services. I focus on service co-production practices, which are collaborative actions in which citizens and actors from other organisations aim to improve service production and delivery. A particular attention is given to water services, including drinking water, sanitation, wastewater, drainage, etc.

By relying on sustainability and transition frameworks, service co-production is investigated through three different dimensions:
- first, a socio-managerial one, mainly pertaining to socio-political disciplines, including public administration and governance studies ;
- second, a techno-environmental one, relying on socio-technical approaches ;
- third, a spatial dimension, more connected with geography disciplines and urban studies.

Ultimately, this approach aims to understand how co-production and co-creation help improving services in terms of efficacy/efficiency, ecological integrity, socio-spatial cohesion, and equity.

This research is mainly conducted in the cities of the Global South, but also in Brussels."
