"My research is based on cross-cutting issues relating to the environment, technology and everyday life. I have coordinated and participated in numerous interdisciplinary research projects with sociologists, engineers, designers, economists and physicists, as well as consumer organisations, companies and consultants. My research is part of STS (Science and Technology Studies) and has mainly focused on the study of domestic energy consumption from a variety of angles. More recently, I have embarked on cross-disciplinary projects (energy communities, energy sobriety), and I have been organising ULB's 'science shop' since September 2023."
