From the various discussions that took place during this research day, it is clear that on the one hand, researchers need support to make their concerns about research funding heard, and on the other hand, they would appreciate a space for formalising the sharing of trans- and inter-disciplinary research experience.
iiTSE could provide tools to help researchers who want to work outside their disciplinary silos, in particular by making them more visible, providing tools to facilitate communication between them and sharing expertise, including methodology.
