Espace Transition: meeting about L'Arche et la Tour

Espace Delvaux

— 19:00 - 21:00

François Ost and Edwin Zaccaï invite you to an exclusive performance of their play L'Arche et la Tour, a musical comedy.

This is an opportunity to discover extracts from the play and to discuss the themes of economic growth, ecological issues, and the anxiety-provoking or uplifting narratives that can be generated by our contemporary situation.

It's also an opportunity to enjoy a festive and artistic moment, with a preview performance by a choir of some of the songs from the play.

A word about the play:

In this satirical and poetic play, the Tower of Babel becomes a multinational company, Babil-One. Its leaders are concerned only with growth, neglecting all the impacts produced by this obsession. It's not long before the water rises around the Tower, sparking a revolt among the inhabitants below and prompting them to migrate to other areas. An island, inhabited ecologically by humans and animals, turns out to be a utopian place, reminiscent of Noah's Ark, but one that also has its limits... Which logic will prevail?
