On 19 December, Sébastien Chonavey will publicly defend his thesis with the aim of obtaining the academic degree of Doctor of Languages, Literature and Translation Studies. The thesis is entitled "WHO CAN BE PERSUADED? Towards a genealogy of the audience: Aristotle, Perelman and young environmental activists".

The jury will be composed of Ms. Emmanuelle DANBLON (Supervisor, ULB), Ms. Julie DAINVILLE (Secretary, ULB), Mr. Benoît SANS (ULB), Ms. Michelle BOLDUC (University of Exeter), Mr. Blake SCOTT (Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen) and Mr. Salvatore DI PIAZZA (Università degli studi di Palermo).

This jury will be chaired by Mr Craig BAKER.
