During the webinar, the knowledge and data gaps identified in the Nexus and Transformative Change Assessments will be presented by assessment experts with a view to catalysing efforts and initiatives aimed at addressing these gaps. Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the identified gaps with assessment experts.

The webinar will also provide a brief overview of the timeline and process of the spatial planning and connectivity assessment (to be finalized in 2027) and of the second global assessment (to be finalized in 2028), including opportunities for Governments and stakeholders to review and contribute. An overview of the general knowledge needs for these assessments will also be presented, which may catalyse short-term knowledge generation initiatives with the aim to make information available that will be relevant to the assessments.
