Understanding threats to biodiversity

Campus Solbosch - S.U.A2.114

— 18:00 - 21:00

This master's course in environmental management addresses the main threats to biodiversity today: habitat destruction, overexploitation of natural resources, pollution, climate change and biological invasions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the latter, in order to illustrate, through the recent IPBES assessment, how globalisation is intensifying this problem, but also what solutions are being implemented in Europe.

This course is offered by biologist Sonia Vanderhoeven (SONYA).
