On November 26, the Earth and Life Institute is delighted to welcome Dr. Ugur Öztürk for an ELI Sustainability Talk entitled "The growing threat of landslides in a changing climate and expanding cities".

Dr. Ugur Öztürk is Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna and head of the Geohazards Working Group at the Department of Geography and Regional Research. Dr. Öztürk is a civil engineer by training, with degrees from Istanbul Technical University and Politecnico di Milano, and earned his PhD in landslide prediction from the University of Potsdam.
