RIODD: PhD workshop
Usquare - ULB
- — 9:30 - 15:30The International Network for Research on Organisations and Sustainable Development (RIODD) is holding its nineteenth congress in 2024 (https://riodd.net/). This edition is organised in partnership by the ICHEC Brussels Management School, the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the UCLouvain Saint Louis Bruxelles.
The RIODD Congress will be held in Brussels on the Montgomery Campus (4 Boulevard Brand Whitlock, 1150 Brussels) of the ICHEC Brussels Management School from 27 to 28 September 2024.
It will be preceded by the traditional Doctoriales du RIODD, which will be held on the USQUARE Campus (1 avenue de la Couronne, 1050 Brussels) of the Université Libre de Bruxelles on Thursday 26 September 2024.
The Doctoral Workshop, which is an integral part of the conference, is a place for doctoral students from different backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas, with the aim of opening up to inter- and even trans-disciplinary approaches. It offers meetings with more experienced researchers from different fields and from a variety of research perspectives, and aims to help doctoral students become active members of the RIODD scientific community.
The doctoral workshop is organised by the Institut interfacultaire des Transformations Socio-Ecologiques (iiTSE) of the Université libre de Bruxelles (https://iitse.ulb.be/fr). Confirmed researchers from iiTSE and, more broadly, from RIODD, will be invited to appear as discussants and commentators on the papers presented by the doctoral researchers. The discussion atmosphere will be open, friendly, inquisitive and constructive, and will seek to offer doctoral students points of attention that will complement what they gather in their usual research environment. The Workshop will also pay particular attention to initiating and stimulating cross-fertilisation and discussion between participants.
Discussants will include :
Tom Bauler (iiTSE)
Marek Hudon (iiTSE)
Sabine Pohl (iiTSE)
Louise Knops (iiTSE)
Simon Gérard (Ichec)
Céline Berrier-Lucas (ISG International Business School)
