The A.C.T Brussels network

This network of players has an essential role to play in the fight against global warming and the protection of our biodiversity. Every company, organisation, not-for-profit organisation or neighbourhood committee that makes a concrete commitment in this direction counts. These links and exchanges between a wide range of complementary players provide leverage to accelerate the region's ecological transition, while ensuring that it is as fair and equitable as possible. By becoming involved in the network, each organisation will see its power to change, adapt and build resilience strengthened.

It mobilises and brings together a wide range of stakeholders:

  • Residents' representatives

  • Associations involved in environmental initiatives

  • Companies and retailers

  • Research and educational institutions

  • Public sector players

The various meetings, workshops and events that take place throughout the year aim to :

  • Stimulate exchanges, links and knowledge-sharing between players (best practices, solutions, experiences, etc.)

  • Offer opportunities to pool resources (material, intellectual, etc.)

  • Facilitate and expand existing projects

  • Encourage the launch of new projects, collaborations and synergies

  • Raise the profile of existing projects

  • Organise exchanges between the City of Brussels and its territory (to raise questions of clarification, collective requests, discuss solutions, etc.).

Programme

  • Presentation of the A.C.T. Brussels stakeholder network, its objectives and initial actions

  • Meeting with a wide range of stakeholders and collective action

  • A convivial moment
