— 18:00 - 20:00As part of the iiTSE doctoral programme, the aim of this round table is to help doctoral students understand how the concept of systems – and by extension, systems thinking – can be applied in different disciplinary fields.
The following speakers will take part in the discussions:
Wouter Achten, bioengineer and expert in life cycle analysis;
Frank Pattyn, glaciologist and expert on the interactions between ice, climate and environmental change;
Charline Urbain, neuropsychologist and former Vice-Rector for Sustainable Development at the ULB.
The discussions between the guests and students will be moderated by Tom Bauler, ecological economist.
