ICHEC, in partnership with ULB and UCLouvain Saint Louis Brussels, is delighted to be hosting the 19th RIODD Congress in Brussels. This event should provide an opportunity to examine the role of all players, and in particular that of institutions and the processes of institutionalisation, in Europe and beyond, in creating conditions conducive to the development of organisations that equitably satisfy human and social needs within planetary limits. It is the richness of these institutionalising dynamics, in which organisations play an important role, that will be explored, without disciplinary, theoretical or geographical restrictions.
