GRICE Seminar

Louvain-La-Neuve, Place de l’Université, in front of La Page d’Après bookshop

- — 12:30 - 14:00

Session coordinator: Véronique Bragard

Like ecological transition, wild grasses are weeds that grow where they are not wanted. They refer to groups of people who wander and are full of other resources. Here we offer a workshop on gathering creative observation methods. We will follow a path marked by various languages and methodologies: from the poetic to the anthropological, from the academic to the activist, from the ecological to the feminist perspective. Valentin Couvreur (bioengineer), Véronique Bragard (arts and literature), and Lidia Rodriguez Prieto (feminist studies) will tell you about plants far beyond the herbariums of your childhood. It will be a matter of observing, but also of being observed by the herbs.
