This joint seminar organized by the Interfaculty Institute for Socio-Ecological Transformations (iiTSE) and the Centre for Study of Public Policy and Public Administration (CEPAP) aims to place this stage at the center of the discussion: What becomes of environmental ambitions when they become part of the day-to-day functioning of public policy? The aim is not to establish a general model for the implementation of environmental policies, but rather to bring together different fields and approaches in order to identify common mechanisms, tensions, and issues. How are environmental objectives reinterpreted during their implementation? What role do policy instruments and institutional frameworks play in these transformations? What room for maneuver do actors develop in the face of the constraints they encounter?
