Feeding Brussels 2026
Brussels
-As every year, dozens of partners are organising activities across the Brussels Region focusing on the challenges of food transition and social justice.
On the programme: performances, debates, workshops, urban walks, community meals, farm visits, and more. These are all opportunities to reflect collectively on food sovereignty and to understand environmental struggles from feminist, decolonial and grassroots perspectives, and in opposition to all forms of systemic oppression.
Since 2021, the Nourrir Bruxelles/Brusselse kost festival has been bringing the need for sustainable food – accessible to all and produced with respect for the environment and those who work the land – back to the forefront of public concern.
Nourrir Bruxelles/Brusselse kost aims to shine a spotlight on and strengthen initiatives promoting agro-ecological and solidarity-based food systems in the Brussels Region. The Festival brings together dozens of partners from the voluntary sector, cultural organisations, academia, politics and the general public who are working in Brussels to protect the planet and our social rights.
