The COGITO project, led by SONYA (ULB) and Cosmopolis (VUB), invites you to its closing session, where the results of their research on just transition in Brussels will be presented.

During the event, we will present:

• The four scenarios exploring the possible evolution of social-ecological inequalities in Brussels by 2050, developed through a participatory process;

• The maps illustrating these alternative futures, co-created with an artist;

• The key challenges for ensuring a just transition, identified through our analysis.

The presentation will be followed by an open discussion of the scenarios — their content, relevance, potential uses, and roles. Together, we will reflect on what they reveal about today’s political and collective choices, and on the actions needed now to build a just transition.

The evening will conclude with a convivial drink.
