Brussels Summer School on Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Food
ULB, Campus de la Plaine Boulevard de la Plaine, 1050 Bruxelles Forum E
-The Brussels Summer School on Urban Agriculture and Sustainable Food is a space for horizontal exchange, combining theoretical and practical learning on the Brussels and global challenges of (peri-)urban agriculture and sustainable food. Aimed at a varied audience, the Summer School is designed as a neutral interface between science and society. Speakers include researchers, practitioners, government departments, citizens' groups and others.
On the programme: multi-actor presentations highlighting the state of research on the topic of the day; inspiring testimonials from actors in the field; participatory debates; visits to projects and meetings with actors in small groups; ‘hands-on’ workshops to put into practice what has been learned over the days.
This 5th edition is coordinated by the ULB Agroecology Laboratory and the non-profit organisation Rucola.
